5/104 Oasthouse about 5 metres north-west of Great Tong

Oasthouse. C19. Small blocks coursed stone with brick dressings to stowage. Kilns red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. Rectangular stowage with 3 circular kilns along long rear [west) wall. Plain brick eaves bands and conical roofs to kilns. Stowage has two 2-light first-floor casements, one "light" of each being boarded, central first-floor door, and door with segmental head towards left end of ground floor of stowage. Weather vanes to kilns. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
