3/48 Brewhouse about 6 metres east of south end of Great Cheveney House

Brewhouse. Late C17 or early C18. Timber framed. Front (west) elevation clad with broad tongued and grooved weatherboarding, probably of late C17 or early C18 date, and underbuilt towards base with later red and grey brick. Later weatherboarding to rest of building. Plain tile roof. 4 timber-framed bays. 2 storeys and garret. Half-hipped roof. Red and grey brick gable end stack to south. One small casement towards south end of west elevation. Weatherboarded lean-to with plain tile roof towards north end of west elevation. Two boarded doors to south section of west elevation. Interior: exposed framing, including re-used medieval timber. Gunstock and cut jowls. Clasped-purlin roof. Concave braces to gable ends. Cider press to ground floor. Later brick fireplace. Stairs to north-east corner. Stone slab floor to ground floor.
