2/11 Archway about 10 metres south of 23.5.67 west end of Boughton Monchelsea Place
GV II
Archway. C16 or early C17. Ragstone with tooled ashlar dressings. Round- headed archway, broadly chamfered to east with high vase chamfer-stop, rebated to west with outer order chamfered with broach stops to head of arch only. Short length of wall each side of archway, rising to stone-coped gable with ball finial. Formerly set within east perimeter wall of a courtyard lying to south and south-east of Boughton Monchelsea Place. Removed further west, probably in C19.
