House.  Early C19.  Front and rear elevations channelled render with stone quoins, left return elevation ashlar.  Tiled roof, formerly slate.  South facing.  2 storeys and cellar on vermiculated ashlar plinth.  Plat band.  Flat panelled eaves soffits.  Hipped roof.  Central rendered stack.  Regular 3- window front of recessed 12-pane sashes with thin glazing bars and Venetian shutters.  3-bay left return elevation with splayed stone heads and flush keystones to windows.  15-pane sashes to ground floor.  Semi-circular-headed cellar-lights, also with flush keystones.  Central half-glazed door with rectangular fanlight, up 4 steps.  Doric porch with modillioned frieze.  Central French doors to left return elevation with wrought-iron lamp bracket.  Rendered 2-storey south-east service wing.  Interior not inspected.  Gate-piers: joined to south-east corner of house by red brick wall in Flemish bond running south for about 40'.  Piers about 3 metres high, vermiculated stone with chamfered rustication on low plinth and with rectangular overhanging caps.  Give access to former stable yard.
