YALDING TQ 64 NE Laddingford 3/154 The Nook and Landways GV II House or house pair, now house pair. C18, with early-to-mid C19 addition. Ground floor of main range painted brick, first floor tile-hung to front, weatherboarded to gable ends. Plain tile roof. Front wing has painted brick to left side, red and grey brick in Flemish bond to right side, and channelled render to front on both floors, and slate roof. Main range slightly set back from road, with early-to-mid C19 wing running forwards to right of centre. Main range 2 storeys and garret, wing two storeys. Half-hipped gambrel roof to main range. Wing roof hipped to front, with much lower ridge. Brick ridge stack with brick datestone or panel, to left of centre of main range. Irregular fenestration of 2 casements; one three-light towards left end of main range, and one two-light to front gable end of wing. One two-light casement towards left end of main range and two twelve-pane sashes to front gable end of wing. No windows to sides of wing. Door with six sunk moulded panels and flat floating hood to left end of main range, to The Nook. Similar door under flat-roofed wooden porch with tapering posts to centre of front gable end of wing, to Landways. Blocked doorway to right end of main range. Lean-to to left table end and to rear.
