Description

TQ 75 NE BOXLEY BOARLEY LANE (west side) Boarley 5/56 Boarley Farm House 26.4.68 G.V. II House. Early C19 facade to a possibly earlier building. Chequered red and grey brick with plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attic with paired modillions to eaves and hipped roof returning to rear to right and left. 2 rear stacks. Plain central dormer. Regu- lar 3 window front of broadly spaced sashes well below eaves, with rubbed brick voussoirs. One C19 canted bay window on ground floor on either side of central door. Doorcase has reeded pilasters and a flat hood. Panelled door with 2 top lights and narrow plain rectangular fanlight over. Right and left return elevations each with one sash at left and one at right end on first floor, with rubbed brick voussoirs. Smaller red brick extension continuing from left wing.
