LOWER STONE STREET 1. 5278 (East Side) No 11 TQ 7655 NW 2/48 30.7.51. II* GV 2. Early C18. 3 storeys refaced with stucco, the lower half of the ground floor grooved in imitation of masonry. Hipped old tiled roof and heavy modillion eaves cornice. Long and short quoins. Dentilled cornice above the ground floor. 4 sashes in moulded architrave surrounds with glazing bars intact. Doorcase with grooved pilasters, projecting cornice which is part of the cornice running across the whole facade but projecting more than tle remainder of it, rectangular fanlight and door of 8 fielded panels. Good staircase with 2 twisted balusters to each step and scrolled tread ends. Good C18 fireplace with swag moulding.
Nos 11 to 17 (odd) form a group.
