ST ANDREW'S ROAD 1. 5278 Gate and Lodges of Oakwood Hospital TQ 75 NW 8/170A II
2. 1833, ashlar. 2 heavily rusticated stone gate piers joined to 2 lodges by pedestrian arches. Lodges have 2 storeys and 1 window each. The ground floor is rusticated. Parapet, cornice and stringcourse. Glazing bars intact. The centre portion of each projects. They are flanked on each side by further rusticated gate piers making up pedestrian arches on the inner side and on the outer side leading to a curved curtain wall which has a balancing pier on the other side£between the curve where the wall continues square. Cast iron and glass lamps on inner stone piers.
