Description

HARRIETSHAM WEST STREET TQ 85 SE (north side) 4/60 Nos. 28 and 30 II House. 1775. Red brick in Flemish bond with plain tile roof. Rear wall roughly aligned with front wall of house to right. 2 storeys on stone plinth with plat band in English bond and painted coved eaves cornice. Roof half-hipped to right. Central brick ridge stack. Regular fenestration of 2 recessed glazing-bar sashes. Ground-floor windows have slightly splayed rubbed brick voussoirs. Central C20 panelled door up 5 steps, with flat hood supported by fluted scrolled brackets. 2 red brick buttresses to base of ground floor to right of door. Short rear wing. Right half of house,No. 30, is now linked to the house to the right, also listed as No. 30. Dated 1775 on stack. Interior not inspected. Listing NGR: TQ8672252731
