Description

LEEDS ASHFORD ROAD TQ 85 SW (north side) 3/70 Park Mill House 27.9.78. GV II House. Later C18 and mid C19. Ground floor painted brick in Flemish bond, first floor channeled stucco, with plain tile roof. At right angles to road. 2 storeys and attics. Projecting brick stack to left end and one to right end, shared with addition. Hipped dormer to right. Regular fenestration of 2 sashes. Canted slate-roofed bay window to right end of ground floor. Painted brick lean-to to left. Painted brick addition to rear on right side forming double depth. Another smaller parallel addition to rear of left half. Mid C19 addition: to right between house and road, with facade to road. Rendered, with plain tile roof. 2 storeys, double gabled, with 3 rear stacks. Regular 3-window front of sashes that to centre with margin lights. 2 ground-floor canted bays with slate roofs. Central half-glazed door under simple Doric- style porch. Interior not inspected.
