Farmhouse, now house row. C15, with C16 and C17 alterations. Restored early C20. Timber framed with rendered infilling. Beaded weatherboarding to rear of main range. Plain tile roof. Open hall of 2 roughly equal- length timber-framed bays, with undershot cross-passage to left and with storeyed end bays. Left hall bay floored in C16. Right hall bay partly floored later in C16, possibly in two stages, forming smoke bay or stack bay towards centre of former hall. Stone stack possibly inserted in same position slightly later. Rear wing to right of approximately 4 timber- framed bays (Nos. 1 and 2 Park Lane). 2 storeys. Coursed stone plinth. Lower midrail to right end bay. Gable end jetty to right. Broadly-spaced studding. Arch braces to first floor of both end bays and to ground-floor of right end bay. Tension braces to right gable end. Flat boarded eaves soffits. Roof hipped to left and, three-quarters hipped to right, with gablets. Slender red brick stack to left lean-to. Multiple brick stack in front slope of roof straddling two central bays, and brick stack in front slope of roof to left end of right end bay. Irregular fenestration of four 3-light leaded casements, the two to centre oriels, with rendered ogee bases. Ribbed door with flat corniced and bracketed hood under central stack. Lean-to to left, slightly set back. Nos. 1 and 2 Park Lane: (west elevation) exposed broadly-spaced studding. 2 storeys and attic. Higher eaves than main range, carried across the main range gable forming there a three-quarters hip. Roof hipped to south. Filleted brick stack to junction of main range and wing. One hipped dormer. 4 casements. 3 ribbed doors with flat bracketed hoods; one under stack, one towards centre and one towards right end. Interior: only partly inspected. Exposed framing. Moulded right end-of-hall beam. Plain crown- post with foot braces to each end of hall, and plain crown-post with chamfered base on axial tie-beam to left end bay. Painted first-floor stone fireplace to left of stack and similar larger fireplace to ground floor.
