Description

LANGLEY SUTTON ROAD TQ 85 SW (east side) 2/95 Rectory Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse. Late C18 with early-to-mid C19 alterations. Double depth. Ground floor red brick in Flemish bond, first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys, attics and cellar, on brick plinth. Moulded modillioned wooden eaves cornice. Half-hipped roof. Central rectangular stack with cogged brick cornice in front slope of roof, and smaller stack, also with cogged cornice, to rear to right. 2 hipped dormers. Regular 3-window front of two 3-light and central 2-light leaded casements. Central early-to-mid C19 porch of red and grey brick, on plinth, with moulded wooden eaves cornice and triangular wooden pediment on moulded brackets. Panelled door with rectangular fanlight.
