2. Early C17. Not the original Manor House, but came to be called such because occupied by a family called Manners. L-shaped timber-framed building with plaster infilling, the ground floor rebuilt in painted brick and stucco, the first floor oversailing a moulded bressumer with the initials "M.B." at its north east angle and a bracket at the north west angle. Tile roof. At the north end of the east front ornamental timbering and a gable containing an attic window with a cove beneath the gable. One window above a three-light window with casements above a hung sash window with glazing bars. At the south end of the first floor of the east front is a long workshop window. Three windows above two to the northern elevation.
