2. Originally part of the George Inn, this is a timber-framed building refaced in the C19 containing a C12 cellar and gallery. The exterior is late C18. 3 storeys rendered. Moulded eaves cornice. 2 sashes on 2nd floor, double-hung on 1st floor. Modern shop front.
The Public Library and Museum at Beaney Institute, Nos 20, 20A, 21, 24 & King's Bridge form a group.
