Description

1. 5273 UPPER HARDRES HARDRES COURT ROAD The Manor House TR 15 SE 13/620 29.9.52 II 2. This was the Rectory until this century. The exterior dates from about 1818 with some older work inside. Two storeys and attics stuccoed. The west or entrance front has 4 windows, a gable at each end containing a small round window or panel, and a modern dormer between. Doorcase not central, with pilasters, cornice and rectangular fanlight. The east or garden front is faced with Roman cement and has 5 windows, a gable at each end containing a small round window or panel, a stringcourse, a Venetian window in the centre of the first floor and a curved bay of 3 windows on the ground floor. Tiled roof and glazing bars intact to the whole. Modern addition at the south end. Interior has hall with Ionic columns. Listing NGR: TR1557850259
