Monument record TQ 67 SW 1475 - Slipway Grove road
Summary
The slipway was first documented in 1852. Excavation indicated that it replaced an earlier timber jetty. It is built of stock brick with Portland stone coping to the sides. The brick surface is overlain with later concrete in places. An iron mooring ring survives on the eastern side.
