Full Description
?Hangar shown occupying same position in 1946 aerial photo. Present structure not checked. May have been entirely rebuilt after 1993. This loop was used for dispersal in 1960 vertical photo. (1)
A hangar of Second World War date was visible as a structure in RAF/541/484 RS 4015 07-APR-1950. It was described as 'Hangar No 4' on a mid-20th century plan of RAF Manston (RAF Museum, Hendon, reference X004/2380). It was recorded as a demolished structure on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (2-3)
