Two fragments of Roman samian ware pottery, with raised decoration, were located during works associated with the extension to the Woolworths Store on Biggin Street, Dover, in the 1950's. The sherds were donated to Dover Museum (where they are located still ) in 1957. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
