Summary
The base of an early Anglo Saxon glass beaker or 'Palm Cup', 4th-5th century in date was located on Snargate Street, Dover, near the entrance to the 'Grand Shaft'. The vessel is Jutish and originates from near the Rhine or Seine. It was donated to Dover Museum in 1850 where it is located still. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
