Findspot record TR 34 SW 1869 - Two Roman Flasks found on Snargate Street, Dover.
Summary
Two Roman flasks have been found near the entrance to the Grand Shaft on Snargate Street in Dover. The first is a footless, globular bodied flask with a stunted neck and is of a sandy reddish brown clay. The second is an ovoid shaped footless flask, again with a stunted neck of a sandy pale red clay with thumb indents at the bulge. (location accurate to the nearest 50m based on available information)
