Summary
A wide variety of Roman ceramic finds were made during the construction of the the dwellings on Priory Hill, Dover in 1883. One of the vessels contained a cremaition burial suggesting (along with the Roman remains what have been found on the site of St Martins Priory - now Dover College) that a Roman burial site exists in this location. (location accurate to the nearest 100m based on available information)
