Full Description

A Roman 'Key-Ring' was located during excavations on Market Square, Dover in 1952. The Key Ring is a type of key with a short shaft and large ring able to fit around a finger, often used for smal box locks etc. The key was donated to Dover museum where it is located still. There is no further information about the location or circumstances of this discovery. (1)
