Full Description
(TR157400) An IA coin c 50-45 BC of the Leuci tribe, ref MISC-IA-3, was found by metal detection near Lyminge in April 1992. It is made of cast bronze potin, is 17 mm in diameter and weighs 4.10 gm. The coin portrays a head left on the obverse side and a boar right, rings below, on the reverse. Scheers series 186, class Ie (cf. Plates 662/663) Gaulish, coin in good condition. (1)
