Feature interpreted as a possible ring ditch, saltern or bomb crater, Shorne Marshes No access during coastal survey in 2005, in Metropolitan Police firing range. (1)

A Second World War bomb crater visible as an earthwork, centred at TQ 7062 7499 within a large low-lying field. First seen on RAF aerial photographs taken in 1947, this is one of 2 adjacent bomb craters extending in an east-west line, probably part of the same bombing raid. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. (4)
