Full Description
(TR34414967) An IA coin c 100-90 BC of the Trinovantes tribe, ref MSRC-REIDR-IA-18, was found near Sutton by metal detection in Aug 1992. The coin is made of cast bronze potin. It measures 16.25-16.5 mm and weighs 3.00 gm. The obverse side shows a Head of Apollo left and a bull charging right and is in very good condition. The catalogue reference is VA 1406-1 and is of Trinovantian A type. (1)
