Full Description

(TR34314960) An IA coin dated to c 10 BC-10 AD of the Trinovantes or Sego tribe, ref MSRC-REIDR-IA-19, was found by metal detection near Sutton. The coin is made of AE, measures 12.75-13.5 mm and weighs 1.69 gm. On the obverse side it has a geometric pattern and on the reverse side it has a sphinx left. Catalogue reference VA 1855-1. Trinovantian P. Coin very worn. (1)
