Monument record TQ 77 NW 198 - Area of ridge and furrow identified by aerial photography and Lidar study

Summary

An area of possible medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow seen as a cropmark and mapped from aerial photographs as part of the the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The slight earthwork traces of former field boundaries or headland banks were seen on Environment Agency lidar imagery on the northern and eastern margins of the culivated area.
