TQ 7400 7152. A possible Second World War military installation, possibly a gun emplacement, is visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s, and has been mapped as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The installation comprises at least four small temporary buildings arranged along a track which leads south off Bunters Hill Road, between Noke Street Farm and the northern edge of Frindsbury. (1-2)

Some structures were visible on photographs taken in August 1954, but all features had been removed by August 1961. (3-4)
