Full Description
(TR3363) LIA coin c 10 BC-10 AD of the Trinovantes or Sego. Ref TWRA-WILKA-IA-11. Discovered at Cottington Hill by metal detection in 1991. The diameter is 11.25-13 mm and the weight is 1.21 gm. The obverse side shows a geometric pattern, pellet-in-ring motif in centre, each point of the design has a ring on the end. The reverse side is illegible. Catalogue reference VA 1855-1. It is a Trinovantian P and in poor condition. (1)
