Findspot record TR 36 SW 79 - Late Iron Age coin, Cottington Hill, Minster

Summary

A late Iron Age coin was disovered by a metal detectorist on Cottington Hill in 1991. The coin was identified as of Trinovantian type and has been subsequently dated to c.10 BC-10 AD. The coin was thought to be in poor condition. One side was too worn to be legible, whilst the other shows a geometric pattern. It is not known where this find is now located.
