Findspot record TR 36 SW 81 - Iron Age coin, Cottington Hill, Minster
Summary
A late Iron Age coin was found on Cottington Hill by a metal detectorist in 1991. The coin has been identified as of Cantian type and was subsequently dated to c.100 BC. It was made from cast bronze potin, and depicted a Celticized head of Apollo and a Celticized bull on its sides. It is not know where this find is now located.
