Full Description
This building was opened as Bethel Chapel in 1842 for General Baptists. It was re-registered by the Salvation Army in 1919 until they left in 1967. The Kingdom Hall (Jehovah's Witnesses) was established in 1968 and is still in use. The buliding is shown on the 1862-75 map as a Congregational Chapel and on the 1897-1900, 1907-23, 1929-52 and current O/S maps.
