Full Description
Constructed before 1808 and demolished c. 1900. Two mills at this location are depicted on a Printed panorama of the River Medway and the Medway Towns entitled "New panorama, picturesque plan of Stroud, Rochester, Chatham, etc. Published as the Act directs", October. 1 1808. Post 1898 it is not noted as a windmill. Base was converted into a pair of cottages, which are not present on maps after 1933. This was the larger of two windmills at this location, collectively known as "Prospect Mills" and was believed to have been the highest in Kent.
