Findspot record TQ 77 NE 33 - Late Iron Age coins, near Northward Hill Nature Reserve, High Halstow
Summary
Three Iron Age coins were discovered near High Halstow by a metal detectorist in June 1992. One was a north eastern Gaulish gold quarter-stater dated to c. 65-50 BC. The second coin was a Gallo-Belgic type gold quarter-stater of the Cantii, Dubnovellaunus-in-Kent'. It was dated to c 23-17 BC. The third coin was a Cantian gold quarter-stater dated to c.40-35 BC of a wealden type.
