Full Description
(TR36354899) LIA Coin dated to c 50-30 BC of the Cantii tribe, ref MSRC-BARWD-IA-13. It was discovered near Ringwould by metal detection in Sep 1992. The coin is made of AE, measures 11.5-14 mm and weighs 1.34 gm. The obverse side shows a boar left, pellet-in-ring below. The reverse shows a lion right, pellet-in-ring motifs in field. The catalogue reference is VA 154-5; M.316a. It is part of the Kentish uninscribed series. (1)
