Full Description
This building was opened in 1904 as a Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, replacing a tin tabernacle of 1875 on the same site. The brethren acquired it in 1934, changing the name to Salem Chapel. It closed in 2012 and is now being converted into a residential building. The chapel/mission room is shown on the 1907-23, 1929-52 and current O/S maps.
