(TR33605650) IA coins (3) were discovered at Worth Hill by metal detection in the 1980's. TWRA-TYMAC-IA-27 The coin is dated to c 10-20 AD and is of the Trinovantes, Cunobelin. It is made of AE, measures 16.25 mm in diameter and weighs 2.92 gm. The obverse side shows a victory right, holding wreath, c behind, pellet border. The reverse shows a warrior on horse right, CVN below, pellet border. Catalogue reference VA 1981-1. Type Trinovantian U. The coin has a central hole made in antiquity. TWRA-TYMAC-IA-76 The coin is dated to c 50-30 BC and is of the Cantii. It is made of AE, measures 16 mm in diameter and weighs 2.03 gm. The obverse side shows a wolf left, 'tree' above, pellet-in-ring's in field. The reverse side shows a Celticized horse right. Catalogue reference VA 154-1. It is part of the Kentish uninscribed series. The coin is in poor condition with some corrosion. TWRA-TYMAC-IA-95 The coin is dated to c 100-90 BC and is of the Trinovantes. It is made of cast bronze potin, measures 15.5-16.5 mm in diameter and weighs 2.52 gm. The obverse side is heavily corroded but shows a head of Apollo left and the reverse shows a bull charging right, exergual line below. It may be of type Trinovantian A type. (1)
