Full Description
(TR33825515) IA coin found near Worth by metal detection in 1985. Coin Reference no. TWRA-TYMAR-IA-20. The coin is dated to c 10 BC-c 10 AD and is of the Atrebates, Eppillus. It is made of AE, measures 14.5-15.25 mm and weighs 1.765 gm. The obverse side shows a Romanized head left. The reverse side shows a victory left, holding wreath and standard. Catalogue reference VA 452-1. It is of the type Atrebatic H. The coin is extremely worn. Already in CCI, but mis-identified as ? Cunobelin. (1)
