Full Description
`...ran aground and 13 men came ashore last night after having cut down her masts and thrown goods overboard. The wine merchants were still on board; about 30 men tried to escape in a boat but sank and all drowned. The ship does not now show and may be sunk in deep water or got off.' A report dated 8th March states that the vessel is broke to pieces and only one man saved, the rest drowned.
