Full Description

The date of this wreck is uncertain but is substantiated by the ship's bell, the vessel being named after a well known Dutch brass merchant. The bell itself, marked with the ship's name and place of build was placed into the belfry of the `Feed My Lambs' school in Deal, and was only discovered about 1960 when the bell tower crumbled and was dismantled, the bell finding its way into the local church wardens coal shed and from there into Deal Maritime Museum.
