`Deal January 30th: Last night the MARIENNE-HENRIETTE, Labeog, got on shore on the Goodwin Sand, and we are afraid the vessel and cargo will be totally lost. Crew saved by the Deal boatmen & landed here this morning.

`1st Feb: During the night of the 30th ulto. part of the rigging and materials from the wreck of the MARIANNE HENRIETTE of Stockholm were landed here by several Deal boats.' (2)

`Ramsgate 3rd February: The wreck of the Swedish brig MARIANNE HENRIETTE, has drifted off the Goodwin Sand, and has been towed on shore near Broadstairs.' (3)

Source (2) spells the name of the vessel as MARIENNE HENRIETTE in the first report, followed by (4); the second report of (2) & (3) give the spelling MARIANNE HENRIETTE, (5) gives MARIANA HENRIETTE.

There are two entries for this vessel in the United Kingdom Shipwreck Index: the first in Kent Mainland (BD), under MARIENNE HENRIETTE; and the second in Kent Goodwin Sands (BF) under MARIANA HENRIETTE.
