A Secocnd World War anti-tank pillbox exists at the Hampstead Lane Caravan Park, Yalding. It was one of a number in the area designed to defend against a crossing of the River Medway. The site was surveyed in 2025 and described "Anti-tank Pillbox Type 28A. Litle Venice Holiday Park Yalding. mbrasures blocked, currently in use as a store. Reenforcing visible. Gun mounting complete inside. Concrete construction, good overall condition. "(1)
