Full Description
`...after being observed ashore on the Goodwins, the Ramsgate lifeboat towed by the steam tug and the Deal lugger BRITISH QUEEN, went to her assistance but found the wreck abandoned and the crew doubtless perished. On the 11th a Wednesday, a ship's boat and three bodies were washed ashore at Shingle End Coastguard Station, presumed to have come from this wreck.'
