Lost in weather conditions NE force 4, fine but thick fog. The board of inquiry decided that the loss occured due to the master being unacquainted with the tides. The vessel was Prussian and registered at Stettin (now Szczecin, Poland), therefore Poland (modern location) and Germany (Prussia was a `German' state) were included as nationality.
