Full Description
Drove ashore on the Goodwin Sands in what was described as a fearful blinding snow storm. The NORTHUMBERLAND lifeboat, in tow of the tug SAMSON, set out to her assistance but was unable to find the wreck in the bad conditions, but was fortunate in meeting up with the schooner's boat which was rowing hard for the GULL light vessel. The lifeboat took them all aboard and landed them safely. Crew Lost: 0 Date of Loss Qualifier: R Additional sources cited in United Kingdom Shipwreck Index. MGM. p176-7
