`...The Broadstairs lifeboat got out to the wreck but was unable to get alongside due to the strong head wind. Five of the six men onboard the wreck were eventually saved by the Broadstairs lugger FAME who had eleven men aboard and took 15 hours to complete the rescue, for which they received a reward of 22.'
