`...the Ramsgate lifeboat and tug were out for the 6th time in a week. They went to the GULL lightvessel which said they had seen lights in the direction of the North Sand Head. The lifeboat investigated and found a ketch sunk, her crew having left. The lugger CHAMPION found the crew still in their own boat some time later, took them aboard and landed them at Deal.'
