Full Description
St Mark's Church, Canterbury Street, built in 1865 with the growth of the population of Gillingham. The congregation started in the Institute in Britton Street in 1857, then moving to a wooden building housing the school and church in 1862, while the brick building was constructed. This was consecrated in 1866.
