Monument record TR 34 SW 1923 - 20th century concrete structures, The Citadel, Western Heights, Dover

Summary

A number of concrete walls and wall foundations were uncovered during a watching brief undertaken on a service trench immediately to the south of the former Officers Quarters at The Citadel, Western Heights, Dover. Too little of the structures was seen within the trench for a certain interpretation though it seems likley that they are of a Second World War Dare, and may all belong to the same, sub-surface structure.
