Full Description

Capsized and sank following collision with the SS GODMANDUN, which killed eight of her nine crew. A few days later Trinity House raised the wreck and the tender WARDEN towed, still upside down, to Pegwell Bay. There it was blown up using guncotton, and in a spectactular explosion wreckage was flung several hundred feet into the air.
