Summary

During the excavation of an archaeological trial trench a post-medieval feature was identified that was thought to be part of the former quarry site. One fragment of Kentish red earthenware pottery (c. 1650-1725) was found, alongside some fragments of post-medieval brick.

Full Description

During the excavation of an archaeological trial trench a post-medieval feature was identified that was thought to be part of the former quarry site. One fragment of Kentish red earthenware pottery (c. 1650-1725) was found, alongside some fragments of post-medieval brick. (1)
